Women's Tennis Debuts at Home in Fall Season Finale

The Mount Union's women's tennis team (1-0) looks to win its final match of the fall season in Alliance, Ohio, Friday, Oct. 4 at 3:30 p.m when they host St. Vincent (Pa.). 

On the season the Purple Raiders are (1-0) defeating the College of Wooster 6-3.

In singles, the Raiders have an overall record of 4-2, being led by senior Lauren Olivier (Chagrin Falls/ Walsh Jesuit) and  junior Hannah Arvidson (North Canton/ GlenOak) each having won major sets in their individual matches. 

St. Vincent (Pa.) is 7-4 overall, and are coming off a 9-0 sweep of Bethany (W.Va.) College on Wednesday. 

The Bearcats and the Raiders last met Sept. 28, 2012, St. Vincent defeated Mount Union 7-2.

The Purple Raiders resume play on March 4, 2014 against Adrian (Mich.).
