Women's Tennis: Mount Union Wins Over Catholic (D.C.)

HILTON HEAD, S.C.—The Mount Union women's tennis team picked up its fifth win of the seasons by defeating Catholic (D.C.) by a score of 8-1.

The Purple Raiders, now 5-2, came out of doubles with all three points and then won five out of the six singles positions.  Anna Nelson (Aurora/Aurora) and Christina Nelson (Aurora/Aurora) teamed up to win in doubles and then won their respective singles matches.

Mount Union is back in action on Wednesday, March 2nd, as the Raiders take on Elizabethtown (Pa.). The match is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. start.
