Women's Tennis: Mount Union Blanks Capital in Regular Season Finale; Records Sixth Shutout

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- The Mount Union women's tennis team defeated Capital (4-11, 3-5 OAC) 9-0 Saturday afternoon for their sixth shutout of the season. 

The Purple Raiders end the regular season with an overall record of 12-6, while going 5-3 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. 

Mount Union swept the doubles matches with scores of 8-1, 8-5, 8-2 and then proceeded to win all six singles matches in just two sets. Within singles, no set score was higher than 6-4.
