Mount Union senior Gretchen Groves (Louisville) and junior Jordan Teaford (Canton / GlenOak) have all been named to the 2019 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis teams by the conference's head coaches.
Groves is a first team selection for a third straight season after being a second team pick as a freshman. She went 14-4 at No. 1 doubles and 12-6 at No. 1 singles this season and over four years playing entirely at the No. 1 positions she posted a career mark of 102-43. Groves is the seventh player in school history with at least 100 wins and her 102 rank fourth on the school's all-time list.
Teaford earned her second consecutive second team nod while being an honorable mention selection as a freshman. She posted an 11-7 record at both No. 2 singles and doubles spots.
The duo led Mount Union to a 14-5 overall record and the semifinals of the OAC Tournament.
