Women's Tennis Team and Four Raiders Claim ITA Scholar Athlete Honors

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Mount Union's women's tennis team claimed ITA All-Academic Team honors while four student-athletes earned ITA Scholar Athlete awards.

The Purple Raiders earned the team honors with a cumulative grade point average of 3.53 gpa for the roster.

Four student-athletes also earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors with at least a 3.5 grade point average.

Junior Trisha Kohut (Warren / Lordstown) has a 3.933 grade point average as an Integrated Media and Sport Business double major.

Sophomore Cora Shane (Cuyahoga Falls) has a 3.918 grade point average as an Art major.

Junior Andrea Dietz (East Liverpool) has a 3.767 grade point average as a Middle Childhood Education major.

Sophomore MacKenzie Cavalier (Green) has a 3.572 grade point average as a Nursing major.

Mount Union went 3-5 before the CoVID-19 pandemic stopped the 2020 season.
