Women's Track & Field: Mount Union Tries For Fifth Straight Title at All-Ohio Meet

Mount Union's women's indoor track and field team will try to win its fifth straight team title at the All-Ohio Championships Saturday at Otterbein University in Westerville.

The Purple Raiders have a number of high seeds in the 18-team event.

The distance medley relay team of senior Jordi Warrick (East Liverpool/East Liverpool), sophomore Katie Vance (Norwayne/Norwayne) and freshmen Toni Beuck (Cleveland/Villa Angela-St. Joseph) and Hannah Reigle (Madison/Madison) are the top seed in the event.

The 4x200 meter relay team of junior Marisa Rinaldi (Tallmadge/Tallmadge) and sophomores Steph Donley (Carrollton/Carrollton), Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) and Dana Crofoot (Perry/Perry) are the No. 2 seed.

Freshman Hilary Reigle (Madison/Madison) is second in 1 mile and seeded fourth in the 800 meters.

Senior Jocelyn Sefick (Willowick/Eastlake North) is the third seed in both the 60 meter hurdles and high jump.

The Raiders are next in action next week at the Kent State Tune-Up.
