Women's Track & Field: Mount Union's Dana Crofoot Named OAC Track Athlete of the Week

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Mount Union sophomore Dana Crofoot (Perry/Perry) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week.

Crofoot helped lead the Purple Raiders to their sixth straight team title at the All-Ohio Indoor Track & Field Championships Saturday at Otterbein University in Westerville.

She was second in the 60 meters (7.84), sixth in the long jump (17-6.75), fifth in the 200 meters (26.41) and teamed with senior Marrianna White (Northfield/Nordonia), junior Marisa Rinaldi (Tallmadge/Tallmadge) and freshman Toni Beuck (Cleveland/Villa Angela St. Joseph) to place third in the 4x400 relay (4:05.01). She was also on the 4x200 meter relay team with senior Veronica Clutter (Geneva/Geneva), Rinaldi and sophomore Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) that placed fourth (1:46.91).

Mount Union will compete this week at the Rick Meindl Last Call meet at Capital University in Columbus.
