Women's Track & Field: Mount Union Goes For Fifth Straight OAC Title This Weekend

Mount Union's women's track and field team will attempt to win its fifth straight and sixth overall indoor conference title this weekend at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Friday and Saturday at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.

Headlining the entries for the Purple Raiders are senior Jocelyn Sefick (Willowick/Eastlake North) and sophomore Dana Crofoot (Perry/Perry).

Sefick is seeded third in three events -- the 55 meter hurdles, high jump and triple jump.

Crofoot is in five events as she is the top seed in the long jump and 55 meter dash while the No. 3 seed in the 200 meters.  She is also part of two relays teams seeded third -- the 4x200 team with junior Marisa Rinaldi (Tallmadge/Tallmadge) with sophomores Steph Donley (Carrollton/Carrollton) and Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) and the 4x400 team with Donley, Rinaldi and Marrianna White (Northfield/Nordonia).

White is also the top seed in the 500 meters while Rinaldi is third in the 400 meters.

Junior Mandy Mohn (Louisville/Louisville) is the third seed in both the mile and 3000 meters.

Freshman Hilary Reigle (Madison/Madison) is seeded second in both the mile and 800 meters while her twin sister Hannah Reigle (Madison/Madison) is the third seed in the 1000 meters while the duo is part of the second seeded distance medley relay team with senior Caitlin Nagy (Cleveland/St. Joseph Academy) and freshman Toni Beuck (Cleveland/Villa Angela-St. Joseph).

The meet begins at noon on Friday and runs through Saturday afternoon.
