ADA, Ohio -- Mount Union junior Dana Crofoot (Perry/Perry) had an NCAA provisional mark in the long jump at the Ohio Northern Last Chance meet Saturday in Ada.

Crofoot finished second in the event with a mark of 18-feet, 6.5-inches which at the moment ranks 14th best in the nation.  The top 17 women in each individual event qualify for next week's NCAA Championship meet in Grinnell, Iowa.

Veronica Clutter (Geneva/Geneva) finished third in the event with a season-best mark of 18-2.25 but appears that mark will not get her into next week's meet.

Jocelyn Sefick (Willowick/Eastlake North) was second in the high jump (5-6.5) and third in the 60 meter hurdles (9.12). Sefick had a mark of 5-7 in the high jump at the All-Ohio Championships that is still fifth best in the nation and she will compete in that event at next week's NCAA meet.

The qualifiers for the NCAA Championship meet will be announced Monday.
