Mount Union's women's track and field team was picked to win its seventh straight Ohio Athletic Conference title in the OAC coaches' preseason poll.

The Purple Raiders received eight first place votes and have 79 total points in the top spot in the poll.  Ohio Northern is in second with 69 points while Otterbein got the other two first place votes and sits in third place with 64 points.  John Carroll (55 pts) and Baldwin Walllace (53 pts) round out the top five.

Sophomores Dana Crofoot (Perry/Perry) and Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) are returning members of the conference champion 4x100 meter relay team.

Senior Jocelyn Sefick (Willowick/Eastlake North) was second in the high jump, third in the triple jump and fifth in the 100 meter hurdles.

Senior Veronica Clutter (Geneva/Geneva) was third in the javelin and fourth in the long jump.

Senior Marrianna White (Northfield/Nordonia) and junior Marisa Rinaldi (Tallmadge/Tallmadge) went 2-3 in the 400 meters.
