WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's indoor track field won the team title at the All-Ohio Indoor Track & Field Championships for a seventh straight year Saturday.
The Purple Raiders scored 105 points to hold off second place and meet host Otterbein (97).
Headlining the day for Mount Union was senior Marisa Rinaldi (Tallmadge/Tallmadge).
Rinaldi won the 200 meters with a season-best time of 25.86, placed second in the 400 meters with a season-best time of 57.73 then was part of a meet record setting 4x200 meter relay team with juniors Dana Crofoot (Madison/Madison), Steph Donley (Carrollton/Carrollton) and Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary).
Freshman Daijana Johnson (Alliance/Alliance) picked up a win in the 60 meter dash with a season-best time of 7.82.
Senior Abbey Eisenbrown (Ellwood City, Pa./Lincoln) broke her own school record in the pole vault finishing fourth with a mark of 11-10.75, junior Katie Vance (Norwayne/Norwayne) placed second in the mile (5:08.53) while Goedecke had third place finishes in the 60 meter dash (7.87) and 200 meters (25.95) to round out the top performances.
Mount Union returns home to host the Raider Tune-Up next Saturday at Peterson Fieldhouse.
