AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Mount Union sophomore Sarah Mason (Alliance/Marlington) won Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors for the second straight week.

This past week at the SPIRE Midwest Open, Mason shattered a school record that stood for 26 years in the women's 600 meter run as she ran a time of 1:40.15 which bested a time of 1:45.07 set by Heather O'Shea in 1992.

It was the second straight week and second time in her career Mason has earned the award.
