ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's indoor track and field team won four events at the Raider Tune-Up Saturday in Peterson Fieldhouse in Alliance.
Megan Bailey (Alliance) had a season-best time of 1:21.56 in the 500 meters to lead the event winners.
The other three event winners came from Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls / Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) in the 60 meter dash (7.92), Dana Crofoot (Perry) in the long jump (17-6.75) and the 1600 meter relay team of Lindsay Thut (Aurora / Crestwood), Cortni Arp (Copley), Sarah Mason (Alliance / Marlington) and Rachael Adams (Louisville / St. Thomas Aquinas).
Five second place finishes were headlined by Aamirah Howard (Akron / Woodridge) who had a career best time in the 60 meter hurdles of 9.43.
The rest of the second place finishes included Morgan Hambrick (Boardman) in the high jump (5-1.25), Alex Johnson (Dover) in the long jump (17-2.25), Toni Beuck (Cleveland / Villa Angela St. Joseph) in the 500 meters (1:21.67) and Arp in the 200 meters (27.17).
Next week the Purple Raiders look to defend their title at the Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Championships at Capital University in Columbus.
