AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Mount Union senior Hilary Reigle (Madison) has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week.
Reigle won the 1500 meters with a time of 4:35.39 which is also a provisional qualifying mark for the NCAA Championships as it currently is the sixth best time nationally. It bested the old school record by over seven seconds (4:42.98) that Brooke Benner had in 2014.
Reigle has posted 12 all-conference performances and won three conference titles over her career. This past fall, she became just the second woman in school history to be an All-American in cross country.
Reigle will compete this weekend at the Bucknell Invitational in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
