Track and Field: Three NCAA Provisional Marks For Women at BW Twilight Meet

BEREA, Ohio -- The Mount Union women's track and field team posted three provisional qualifying marks for the NCAA Championships Friday at the Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet at Baldwin Wallace.

Sabrina Stocker (Madison) won the 100 meter hurdles with a season-best time of 14.54 which currently places her 15th in the nation, Maryonna Cathey (New London) was second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.50 that stands 16th best nationally while Katie Durisin (Painesville / Riverside) ran a time of 10:58.12 in the 3000 meter steeplechase that also placed second in the event and 16th in the country.

The top 22 women nationally in each individual event qualify for the NCAA Championships being host by Mount Union and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission May 23-25 at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Other top performances for the Purple Raiders came from the twin sister duo of Hilary and Hannah Reigle (Madison) that placed 1-2 in the 5000 meters along with second place finishes from Cortni Arp (Copley) in the 400 meters and Emily Henson (Hamilton / Badin) in the 1500 meters.

Mount Union also got three wins on the men's side from Alex Bryan (Geneva) in the 800 meters, AJ Digby (Tontogany / Otsego) in the 400 meters and Connor Troyer (Sugarcreek / Garaway) in the 400 meter hurdles.

The final last chance meets of the year take place next week at Ohio Wesleyan and North Central (Ill.).
