Three Raiders Selected to All-OAC Academic Team

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Junior setter Julie Radigan (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) was selected to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Academic Team while two seniors -- outside hitter Monica Hupertz (Willoughby Hills/Beaumont) and middle hitter Roni Schroeder (Shelby/Shelby) -- were given Honorable Mentions.

The conference academic honor is Radigan's second in as many years. She was an All-OAC Academic Honorable Mention in 2009. Radigan is an Intervention Specialist major with a 3.91 cumulative grade-point-average.

On the court, Radigan was named to the All-OAC First Team. She ranked second in assists per set within the OAC (10.16) and fourth in hitting percentage (.280). Radigan was also an All-OAC Honorable Mention in 2008.

Hupertz, who topped the entire conference in kills per set (3.12), is a Broadcast Communications major. Along with possessing a 3.51 GPA in the classroom, she was an All-OAC Honorable Mention in competition.

Schroeder, a Biology major with a 3.35 GPA, was an All-OAC Second Teamer on the floor. She led the OAC in blocks per set (1.02) while ranking second in hitting percentage (.310) and fourth in kills per set (2.94).
