ASTON, Pa.—The Mount Union volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 8 Juniata (Pa.) in an NCAA Tournament second round match at the Mirenda Center on the campus of Neumann University. The Purple Raiders end their season with a 25-8 record, tying the second-most season wins in program history.

Mount Union Volleyball Receives AVCA Team Academic Award
Mount Union's volleyball team has been selected as a recipient of the 2010-11 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award. The award honors teams who have matched their dedication to the sport of volleyball with excellence in the classroom. In order to do so, a team must maintain a grade-point-average of 3.30 or better. Only 75 Division III womens' volleyball teams -- and 450 across all divisions -- were selected for the award.
