Mount Union Sports Information Staff Earn Top Regional Honors From AVCA

Mount Union's sports information office was recognized as the top office in the Great Lakes region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The Purple Raiders office is led by assistant athletic director and sports information director Lenny Reich along with assistant sports information director and primary volleyball contact Rosalie Morrison along with assistant sports information director Andrew Cugliari.

Mount Union hosts a season opening women's tournament in which the sports information office provides live statistics for every match on every court. The office also does social media at every home match and the Raiders social media channels (twitter, facebook and instagram) have more combined followers than other NCAA Division III school in the nation.

This past year, Mount Union also annoucned the addition of a men's volleyball program in 2019 and the sports information office handled publicity and promotion for the team.

"We feel proud and humbled to be recognized by the AVCA member coaches in the region for our work," commented Reich. "Rosalie's organization and passion for her work along with the hard work and dedication of both her and Andrew led our efforts."

Reich is entring his 22nd year as a sports information director and 11th at Mount Union, Morrison is a 2017 Mount Union graduate who begins her second year on the staff while Cugliari is now the asssistant sports information director at Ohio Dominican University.
