ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's volleyball team swept Case Western Reserve (5-3) during a non-conference match Wednesday night from the McPhearson Academic and Athletic Complex.

The Purple Raiders (9-0) never trailed by more than four points in any set and remain undefeated after scores of 25-16, 25-22, and 25-20.

Offensively, the Raiders were led by sophomore outside hitter Breanna Arnett (Peninsula/Woodridge) who notched a career-high 14 kills; majority of those kills coming off of junior setter Carly Stepic's (Cleveland/Holy Name) 35 assists.

Defending the back row with a season-high 26 digs was senior libero Allison Baird (North Royalton/North Royalton), followed closely behind by sophomore outside hitter Madelin DiBease (Perry/Perry) who collected 16. Also with double digit digs was Stepic with 10.

Mount Union next travels to Rochester, N.Y. to compete in the Golden Flyer Invitational hosted by Nazareth College on September 14-15.
