Mount Union junior Hilary Reigle (Madison / Madison) has qualified to compete at the 2017 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship Saturday, Nov. 18 in Elsah, Illinois.

Reigle made the meet by finishing sixth overall at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional this past Saturday in Powell, Ohio.

She had five other top 10 finishes this Fall including placing third at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships then posting a season-best 6k time of 22:12.0 with a second place finish at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble.

It is the fifth time that a Purple Raider female has made the meet as an individual with last coming in 2013 as Brooke Mathie (Louisville / Louisville) placed 37th. Mount Union has one All-American performance in women's cross country and that came from Natalie Lambert, who placed 20th in 1997.

Principia College is serving as the host site for the 2017 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships at the Principia College North Farm Cross Country Course at 1 Maybeck Place, Elsah, IL 62028.
