#10 Wrestling Stays Undefeated With 38-9 Win Over Case Western Reserve

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- No. 10 ranked Mount Union improved to 10-0 on the season with a 38-9 wrestling victory over Case Western Reserve Friday at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex Friday in Alliance.

The Purple Raiders won eight of the 10 weight classes with pins from Colin Dennis (North Ridgeville/Lutheran West) at 133, Joe Spooner (Willoughby/Willoughby South) at 157 and at 184 from Andy Jenkins (Stow/Woodridge).

Case Western Reserve (0-8) got a forfeit win from Victor Pan at 125 and No. 1 in the nation Isaac Dukes got a 5-2 decision at 149.

Mount Union returns to Ohio Athletic Conference action next Tuesday (Jan. 25) at 7:30 pm against John Carroll at The MAAC in Alliance.
