ALLIANCE, Ohio--Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team remained unbeaten as they defeated Baldwin-Wallace, 138-83 in Ohio Athletic Conference meet Saturday afternoon at Hammond Natatorium.
Seniors Alyson Kolesar (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) and Taylor Harrison (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia) led the Purple Raiders by gaining multiple wins on the day. Kolesar won the 1,000 Free (11:09.66) and 500 Free (5:26.85), while Harrison won the 400 IM (4:52.96) and 200 Backstroke (2:14.74).
Sophomore Courtney Gabel (Fremont/Fremont Ross) also won multiple events, touching first in the 200 Free (2:01.83) and 100 Free (:54.87).
Other individual winners for the Raiders included Jocelyn Gaydos (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) and Sarah Noble (Copley/Copley). Gaydos won the 50 Free with a time of :25.84 while Noble won the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:24.45.
The team of Shelbey Mitchell (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls), Gabel, Harrison, and Gaydos, won the 200 Medley Relay (1:54.44).
The Purple Raiders will return to action December 1 when they compete in the Wooster Invitational.
