DELAWARE, Ohio—Juniors Rob Brocious (Mentor/Mentor) and Mike Greisl (South Euclid/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) each won a pair of events, but it was not quite enough as Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team was a close match to Ohio Wesleyan, 114-100.

Brocious earned victories in the 500 Free (4:56.01) and 1000 Free (10:13.40) for the second straight night.

Greisl won the 100 Free (49.26) and teamed with sophomore Zach Melvin (Woodmere/Orange), junior Ben Davies (Willoughby/Willoughby), and freshman Brian Ruhe (Versailles/Versailles) to win the 400 Medley Relay (3:46.44).

Freshman Hayden Birnbrich (Pataskala/Columbus St. Charles) won the 100 Backstroke (57.64) for the Purple Raiders.

Mount Union next swims at Baldwin-Wallace in Berea, Ohio Saturday, November 15th.
