WOOSTER, Ohio—The Mount Union men's swimming and diving team lost to Wooster, 150-121, Friday night.

Ben Davies (Willoughby/Willoughby South) and Mike Greisl (South Euclid/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) won individual events for the Purple Raiders. 

Davies placed first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:07.85 while Greisl won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:09.97.

Despite only two first place finishes, the Raiders were able to keep the meet close by taking second in 11 of the 13 individual events. Greisl, Rob Brocious (Mentor/Mentor), Brian Ruhe (Versailles/Versailles), and Mike Zappa (Shelby/Shelby) all took second in multiple events.

The Purple Raiders (3-4) will have a quick turnaround, returning to the pool for a dual meet against Ohio Athletic Conference foe Wilmington Saturday at 1 pm at the Hammond Natatorium.
