MELBOURNE, Fla.—The Mount Union men's swimming and diving team captured a 137-120 victory over Florida Tech Wednesday afternoon. This was the first competition in almost a month for the Purple Raiders, who traveled to Florida for the final week of winter break.
The Purple Raiders only won five of the 14 events, but used ten second place finishes to improve to 4-2 in dual meets on the season.
Rob Brocious (Mentor/Mentor) was the only team member to win multiple events, touching first in the 200 yard freestyle (1:50.58) and 200 yard IM (2:05.03). Brocious finished second in the 200 yard backstroke.
