Mount Union's wrestling team, ranked No. 10 in the nation, closes out the regular season against Muskingum in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual Tuesday at 7:30 pm in New Concord.
The Purple Raiders are 11-5 and at 3-1 in the OAC need a win against Muskingum and a Heidelberg loss against Ohio Northern to forge a tie for the conference title.
Mount Union is coming off a 26-15 win against Baldwin Wallace last Saturday as the Raiders won six of the nine contested matches.
The Raiders have a pair of nationally ranked wrestlers as Jeremy Border (Caldwell/Caldwell) is ranked No. 4 at 133 pounds while Jon Garrison (Copley/Copley) is ranked No. 7 at 157 pounds.
Garrison reached 30 wins on the season with a major decision victory against Baldwin Wallace.
Muskingum is 0-9 on the season and 0-4 in the OAC.
Mount Union next wrestles at the NCAA Mideast Regional Sunday, March 2 at York College in York, Pa.
