NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Mount Union women's swimming team lost 171-127 at Westminster in the final regular season meet of the season Saturday in New Wilmington, Pa.
The Purple Raiders got a pair of event wins from both Rose Aldo (Mansfield, Mass./Mansfield) and Jacquelyn Jarachovic (North Olmsted/North Olmsted).
Aldo claimed wins in 200 IM and 200 Freestyle while Jarachovic won the 100 Freestyle and swam a leg of the winning 200 Freestyle Relay with teammates Kaitlyn Goldsmith (Galloway/Hilliard Bradley), Carly Brown (Strongsville/Strongsville) and Jenna Kassinger (Silver Lake/Cuyahoga Falls).
Two other wins came from Megan Leibensperger (Uniontown/Green) in the 1650 Freestyle and Dana Lautenschleger (Solon/Solon) in the 500 Freestyle.
Mount Union next competes at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships held Feb. 19-21 at The University of Akron.
