ALLIANCE, Ohio- Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team won their fourth straight meet of the season with a 126-64 victory against Baldwin Wallace.
Leading the way for the Purple Raiders was Jenna Kassinger (Silver Lake/Cuyahoga Falls) who won three events on the night.
Kassinger won the 100 yard freestyle (58.48), the 200 yard medley relay (1:54.53) and the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:47.13). Dana Lautenschleger (Solon/Solon), Mallory Glenn (Bowling Green/Bowling Green), and Jessica Hirsh were also a part of the 200 yard medley while Rose Aldo (Mansfield, Mass./Mansfield), Glenn and Hirsh were a part of the 200 yard freestyle relay.
Others placing first in their events were Alex Hamit (Massillon/Massillon Perry) who won the 50 yard freestyle (26.33) and the 100 yard backstroke (1:04.28), Lauren Oktavec (Brunswick/Brunswick) in the 1000 yard freestyle (11:28.48), Megan Leibensperger (Uniontown/Hoover) in the 200 yard freestyle (2:04.86), Aldo in the 200 yard IM (2:16.8), and Lautenschleger in the 500 yard freestyle (5:18.31).
In diving action, Sara Fountain (North Ridgeville/Fairview) came in second place in both diving events with scores of 129.55 and 155.35.
Mount Union returns to the pool November 21 at 1 pm at John Carroll in University Heights.
