New Wilmington, Pa. - Mount Union's men's swimming and diving lost to Westminster (Pa.), 174-109, Saturday afternoon in New Wilmington, Pa.
Jack Ineson (Huron/Huron) placed first in the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:30.81 while Tyler Moore (Amherst/Amherst Steele), Tyler Fry (Massillon/Washington), Gavin Rundell (Mount Vernon/Mount Vernon) and Logan Rogers (Hartville/Archbishop Hoban) placed first in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:19.28.
Placing second in their events were Alex Machovina (Amherst/Amherst Steele), Fry, Moore and Rundell in the 400 yard medley relay (3:37.78), Fry in the 100 yard backstroke (55.02), Moore in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:01.38) and the 200 yard breaststroke (2:16.01), Rundell in the 200 yard butterfly (2:00.04) and the 100 yard butterfly (53.10).
The Raiders next prepare for the three-day Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Feb. 18-20 at Akron University.
