FT. WAYNE, Ind. -- Mount Union senior Jeremy Border (Caldwell/Caldwell) scored three wins at 141 pounds to lead the Purple Raiders at the National Wrestling Coaches Association National Duals in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
Border, who is ranked 10th in the nation at 141 pounds, highlighted his day with an 8-4 win over No. 2 ranked Matt Adcock of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Border also scored an 18-2 technical fall win over Sean McMahon of Augustana (Ill.) and a 15-1 major decision win over NYU's Sean Brown.
Mount Union, ranked No. 21 in the nation dropped three matches on the day falling to Augustana (Ill.) 28-9, No. 20 ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater 21-9 and to No. 24 ranked New York University 30-13.
Mount Union hosts the Raider Duals next Saturday, Jan. 16 at 12 p.m. in Peterson Fieldhouse
