ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's wrestling team finished the regular season with a 26-15 win over Otterbein in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual Saturday at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex in Alliance.

The Purple Raiders finish the regular season in duals with an 8-11 mark and in fourth place in the OAC at 3-3.

Mount Union won six of the 10 contested bouts and earned bonus points in four of the those matches.

Those bonus points came from juniors Alec Cotton (Hartville/Lake) and Nick Mancini (Boardman/Boardman), who both had technical fall wins at 141 and 125 respectively, freshman Conner Homan (Loveland/Loveland), who got his sixth pin of the season at 157 and a major decision win from Jesse Gross (Norwalk/St. Paul) at 165.

The Raiders other two wins came from senior Nick Miller (Mansfield/Ontario) at 174 and freshman Isaiah Watson-Kirksey (Alliance/Alliance) at 184 pounds.

Mount Union wrestles next weekend at the NCAA Mideast Regional at York College in York, Pa.
