ALLIANCE, Ohio - Mount Union women's swimming and diving team was edged out by St. Vincent (Pa.), 133-129, Saturday afternoon at Hammond Natatorium.

Leading the Purple Raiders was junior Lauren Stajcar (Strongsville) with two first place finishes in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke. 

Other first place finishes came from freshman Alexis Schuller (Berea / Brea-Midpark) in the 200-yard freestyle and from Amanda Wesley (Louisville) in the 1-meter diving competition. 

Mount Union next travels to John Carroll for an Ohio Athletic Conference dual Saturday, Nov. 2 at 3 p.m. in University Heights.
