UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio - Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team lost their first meet and first Ohio Athletic Conference competition of the season 205-89 at John Carroll Saturday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders are now 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the OAC.
Sophomore Brett Scheib (Gibsonia, Pa. / Hampton) took the only first place finish of the day in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:00.80.
Scheib tallied up a team-best 13 points on the day for the Raiders.
Mount Union will continue OAC competition Friday, Nov. 8 as they host Baldwin Wallace at 6 p.m. at Hammond Natatorium.
