OBERLIN, Ohio – The Mount Union women's swimming and diving team fell to Oberlin 190-97 on Saturday afternoon.
The Raiders 200-yard medley relay team that consisted of freshman
Ava Breton (Cheshire, Conn.), freshman Annemarie Trench (Sterling, Va. / Home school), sophomore Maddie
Horrigan (Hudson) and senior
Aurelia Incristi (Rockwall, Texas) started the day with a second-place finish.
Freshman
Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) finished second in the 1000-yard freestyle. Junior
Ziv Marco (Buffalo Grove, Ill.) took second in the 200 and 500-yard freestyle.
Breton finished second in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke. With Trench winning the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing with a time of 1:13.27, she also won the 200-yard breaststroke. Horrigan finished second in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly.
Senior
Callie Landry (Broussard, La. / Teurlings Catholic) finished second in the 200-yard individual medley and Trench took third. The 200-yard freestyle relay consisting of Incristi,
Breton, Horrigan and junior
Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) finished in second place.
Freshman
Mia Marciano (Austintown / Fitch) finished in second in the one-meter dive with a score of 163.80.
The Raiders return to action Saturday, November 6 at 1 p.m. to take on John Carroll in University Heights, Ohio.
