BEREA, Ohio –No. 22 ranked Mount Union suffered a 31-7 loss to No. 11 ranked Baldwin Wallace in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual between nationally ranked teams Tuesday at Ursprung Gymnasium.

It was the first dual and conference match for both teams on the season and Baldwin Wallace won xx of the 10 contested matches.

BW took the 125 and 133-pound matches with a decision and major decision to jump out to a 7-0 lead.

David Massey (Cuyahoga Falls / Woodridge), ranked fourth in the nation at 133, bumped up to 141 and got the Raiders on the board with a 7-3 win.

BW's Michael Petrella came back and got a pin at 149 pounds to push the Yellow Jacket lead to 13-3.

The Jackets then got decision wins from nationally ranked wrestlers at 157 and 165 pounds to take a commanding 19-3 lead. BW continued with a win at 174, a tech fall at 184 and a major decision at 197.

Mount Union won the night's final match as Grant Martin (Hartville / Lake) scored a major decision at 285 pounds.

Mount Union is back on the mat Saturday at the Olivet Comet Duals in Olivet, Michigan.
