CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mount Union men's swimming and diving team lost to John Carroll 206-90 on Saturday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders 200-yard medley relay team consisting of freshman
Mason Wilkson (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne), senior
Nick Dye (Massillon / Jackson), senior Jeff Labianco (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne) and senior
Brett Scheib (Gibsonia, Pa. / Hampton) finished third with a time of 1:39.11.
Junior
Jason Tondra (Canton / Jackson) took third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.72.
Dye and freshman
Emmett Martin (Canton, Mich. / Plymouth) took third and fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke. With sophomore
Eli Holm (Murreysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) taking second in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:02.11.
Sophomore
Eli Humeniuk (Sylvania / Northview), freshman
Xander Lentz (Trafford, Pa. / Penn Trafford) and freshman
Joel Weeman (Wooster) went first, second and third in the one-meter dive. With Humeniuk and Lentz going first and second in the three-meter dive.
Tondra took second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 48.59. Junior
Nathan Williams (Columbia, S.C. / Irmo) finished second in the 200-yard backstroke. Freshman
Conner Arneson finished third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:03.90.
Labianco took second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.27. Williams finished second in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:02.17.
The Raiders 200-yard freestyle relay finished in second with a time of 1:29.27. The team consisted of Scheib, Tondra, Labianco, and sophomore
Andrew Hathaway (Lexington).
The Raiders are back in action on Saturday, November 13 at 1 p.m. against Baldwin Wallace at Hammond Natatorium in Alliance, Ohio.
