LATROBE, Pa. – Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team won a dual meet against St. Vincent (Pa.) 188-69 on Friday night.
Top Finishers
- 200-yard medley: won with a time of 1:41.86, the team consisted of senior Ben Hoffmann (St. Cloud, Minn.), senior Nick Dye (Massillon / Jackson), senior Jeff LaBianco (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne) and junior Jason Tondra (Canton / Jackson)
- 1000-yard freestyle: junior Aidan Spinola (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) won with a time of 10:43.00 and freshman Michael Hubbard (Springfield, Va. / Home school) finished second with a time of 11:08.11
- 200-yard freestyle: freshman Mason Wilkson (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne) won with a time of 1:50.57 and freshman Conner Arneson (Mount Horeb, Wis.) finished second with a time of 1:51.51
- 50-yard backstroke: LaBianco won with a time of 26.54, senior Brett Scheib (Gibsonia, Pa. / Hampton) finished second with a time of 26.66 and Dye finished third with a time of 30.58
- 50-yard breaststroke: junior Nathan Williams (Columbia, S.C. / Irmo) won with a time of 29.76
- 100-yard butterfly: Spinola won with a time of 57.51
- 50-yard freestyle: sophomore Eli Holm (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) won with a time of 22.71, Hoffman finished second with a time of 23.52 and sophomore Andrew Hathaway (Lexington) finished third with a time of 23.70
- 100-yard freestyle: Williams won with a time of 49.32
- 100-yard backstroke: Hoffmann won with a time of 58.33, Scheib finished second with a time of 58.65 and freshman Thomas Ginocchi (Oakdale, Pa. / West Allegheny) finished third with a time of 1:06.10
- 100-yard breaststroke: Wilkson finished second with a time of 1:06.83
- 500-yard freestyle: Tondra won with a time of 5:03.81, Holm finished second with a time of 5:08.57 and senior Brian Regovich (Willowick / Eastlake North) finished third with a time of 5:10.04
- 50-yard butterfly: LaBianco won with a time of 23.70
- 200-yard freestyle relay: won with a time of 1:31.49, the team consisted of Regovich, Wilkson, Hathaway and LaBianco
