ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union women's swimming and diving team fell to John Carroll University with a final score of 170-126 in their second Ohio Athletic Conference dual-meet match up Saturday afternoon at the Hammond Natatorium.

The Purple Raiders were led by sophomore Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) by securing a clean sweep with victories in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.78), 50-yard freestyle (25.93), and the 500-yard freestyle (5:35.52). Also claiming victories for Mount Union was junior Stacy Witschey (Wadsworth) in the 200-yard backstroke (2:21.38).

The Purple Raiders travel to Wilmington next weekend for another dual-meet matchup on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 1 PM in the Wilmington Natatorium.
