Raiders Fall to Ohio Northern

ADA, Ohio – The Mount Union men's swimming and diving team lost an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup 186-110 against Ohio Northern on Saturday afternoon.

Top Finishers
  • 200-yard medley relay: finished second with a time of 1:40.99, the team consisted of senior Ben Hoffmann (St. Cloud, Minn.), senior Nick Dye (Massillon / Jackson), senior Jeff LaBianco (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne) and junior Nathan Williams (Columbia, S.C / Irmo)
  • 1000-yard freestyle: freshman Conner Arneson (Mount Horeb, Wis.) finished second with a time of 10:07.91 and junior Aidan Spinola (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) finished third with a time of 10:31.40
  • 200-yard freestyle: junior Jason Tondra (Canton / Jackson) finished second with a time of 1:48.05 and senior Brett Scheib (Gibsonia, Pa. / Hampton) finished third with a time of 1:50.44
  • 100-yard backstroke: freshman Mason Wilkson (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne) finished first with a time of 55.18 and Hoffmann finished second with a time of 56.27
  • 200-yard backstroke: Williams finished first with a time of 1:59.63, Wilkson finished second with a time of 2:02.99 and Hoffmann finished third with a time of 2:03.55
  • 500-yard freestyle: Arneson finished second with a time of 4:58.05 and Scheib finished third with a time of 5:05.65
  • 400-yard individual medley: Williams finished second with a time of 4:21.15 and Spinola finished third with a time of 4:37.51
  • 400-yard freestyle relay: finished second with a time of 3:20.83, the team consisted of Scheib, sophomore Eli Holm (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional), LaBianco and Tondra
  • One-meter diving: sophomore Eli Humeniuk (Sylvania / Northview) finished second with a score of 240.40
The Raiders return to action on Saturday, January 22 at 1 p.m. against Wilmington at Hammond Natatorium in Alliance.
