TIFFIN, Ohio -- Mount Union's wrestling team got pins in four of eight contested matches to beat Otterbein, 34-21 Sunday at the Ohio Athletic Conference Duals at Heidelberg University in Tiffin.

The Purple Raiders have now won two-straight OAC matches and are 3-5 overall and 2-2 in the OAC.

Errik Gerback (Alliance / Marlington) and David Massey (Cuyahoga Falls / Woodridge) both picked up pins at 125 and 133 pounds respectively to get Mount Union out to a 12-0 lead.

Otterbein came back with a pin of its own at 141 before Luke Hernandez (Nashport / Tri-Valley) made his return to the mat at 149 for the first time since the opening weekend of the season and got a major decision win 14-2.

The Cardinals got a win at 157 to make it 18-9 but Mount Union got a forfeit win at 165 then pins from Alex Carrothers (Carrollton) at 174 and George Lassnick (Painesville / Lake Catholic) at 184 to put the match away.

The Raiders have two more matches Sunday against Otterbein at 1 p.m. and Heidelberg at 3 p.m.
