Raiders Beat Notre Dame in Home Finale

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team beat Notre Dame (Ohio) in a dual meet 152-110 on Friday night.

Top Finishers
  • 200-yard medley relay: finished second with a time of 1:39.97, the team consisted of senior Ben Hoffmann (St. Cloud, Minn.), senior Nick Dye (Massillon / Jackson), senior Jeff LaBianco (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne) and junior Nathan Williams (Columbia, S.C. / Irmo)
  • 1000-yard freestyle: freshman Conner Arneson (Mount Horeb, Wis.) finished first with a time of 10:15.43
  • 200-yard freestyle: senior Brett Scheib (Gibsonia, Pa. / Hampton) finished second with a time of 1:51.80
  • 100-yard backstroke: freshman Mason Wilkson (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne) finished second with a time of 56.03
  • 100-yard breaststroke: Dye finished first with a time of 1:02.03
  • 200-yard butterfly: sophomore Eli Holm (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) finished first with a time of 2:01.93, Williams finished second with a time of 2:03.16 and freshman Michael Hubbard (Springfield, Va. / Home school) finished third with a time of 2:05.67
  • 50-yard freestyle: LaBianco finished first with a time of 22.28
  • 100-yard freestyle: Holm finished second with a time of 49.72
  • 200-yard backstroke: Williams finished first with a time of 2:00.45, Wilkson finished second with a time of 2:02.64 and Hoffmann finished third with a time of 2:03.90
  • 200-yard breaststroke: Dye finished first with a time of 2:20.50
  • 500-yard freestyle: Arneson finished first with a time of 4:55.80
  • 100-yard butterfly: LaBianco finished first with a time of 54.29 and Holm finished second with a time of 54.62
  • 200-yard individual medley: Williams finished second with a time of 2:02.05
  • 200-yard freestyle relay: finished second with a time of 1:30.26, the team consisted of senior Brian Regovich (Willowick / Eastlake North), sophomore Andrew Hathaway (Lexington), Holm and Scheib

The Raiders are back in action tomorrow as they hit the road to take on Westminster in New Wilmington, Pa. at 1 p.m.
