Raiders Beat Westminster on the Road

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Mount Union men's swimming and diving team beat Westminster (Pa.) in a dual meet 156.5-141.5 on Saturday afternoon.

Top Finishers
  • 200-yard medley relay: finished second with a time of 1:37.90, the team consisted of freshman Mason Wilkson (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne), senior Nick Dye (Massillon / Jackson), sophomore Eli Holm (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) and senior Jeff LaBianco (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne)
  • 1650-yard freestyle: junior Aidan Spinola (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) finished first with a time of 17:44.04
  • 200-yard freestyle: freshman Conner Arneson (Mount Horeb, Wis.) finished first with a time of 1:49.02
  • 100-yard backstroke: Wilkson finished second with a time of 55.64
  • 100-yard breaststroke: Dye finished second with a time of 1:03.71
  • 200-yard butterfly: freshman Michael Hubbard (Springfield, Va. / Home school) finished first with a time of 2:04.64, Holm finished second with a time of 2:05.69
  • 50-yard freestyle: LaBianco finished second with a time of 22.37
  • 100-yard freestyle: junior Jason Tondra (Canton / Massillon Jackson) finished second with a time of 49.15
  • 200-yard backstroke: Wilkson finished second with a time of 2:02.43
  • 500-yard freestyle: Holm finished first with a time of 5:07.39 and Spinola finished second with a time of 5:08.48
  • 100-yard butterfly: LaBianco finished first with a time of 53.78, Wilkson finished second with a time of 55.66 and senior Brett Scheib finished third with a time of 56.43
  • 200-yard individual medley: junior Nathan Williams (Columbia, S.C. / Irmo) finished first with a time of 2:03.01
  • 400-yard freestyle relay: finished first with a time of 3:17.88, the team consisted of Scheib, LaBianco, Tondra and senior Brian Regovich (Willowick / Eastlake North)

The Raiders are back in action on Thursday, February 17 for Day One of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Ocasak Natatorium in Akron, Ohio.
