Women's Swimming: Raiders Down Wilmington in OAC Dual

WILMINGTON, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team defeated Wilmington 128-74 in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet on Saturday afternoon.

Top Finishers
  • 200-meter medley relay: team consisting of freshman Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark), freshman Charlotte Cohagan (Parma / Padua Franciscan), junior Maddie Horrigan (Hudson) and senior Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time of 2:11.65
  • 800-meter freestyle: senior Ziv Marco (Buffalo Grove, Ill. / Adlai E. Stevenson) won the event with a time of 9:59.13 and freshman Jordyn Miller (Strongsville) finished second with 10:39.65
  • 200-meter freestyle: Schuller won the event with a time of 2:18.72
  • 50-meter freestyle: Cohagan won the event with a time of 28.58 and freshman Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) finished second with a time of 29.79
  • 200-meter individual medley: sophomore Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) won the event with a time of 2:44.93 and junior Elizabeth Regovich (Willowick / Eastlake North) finished second with a time of 2:47.68
  • 100-meter butterfly: freshman Kayla Stewart (Marietta) won the event with a time of 1:13.87 and junior Lauren Hurley (Perry) finished second with a time of 1:14.09
  • 100-meter freestyle: Parr won the event with a time of 1:03.77
  • 100-meter backstroke: Calaway won the event with a time of 1:10.68 and sophomore Erika Fogarty (Dimondale, Mich. / Holt) finished second with a time of 1:14.63
  • 400-meter freestyle: freshman Nina Veldt (Holland, Mich.) won the event with a time of 5:05.56 and Regovich finished second with a time of 5:07.23
The Raiders return home next when they host Allegheny on Friday, January 27 at 6 p.m. in Hammond Natatorium in Alliance.
