Men's Swimming: Raiders Top Westminster on Senior Day

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team defeated Westminster (PA) 173-122 in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon.

Top Finishers

  • 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of sophomore Mason Wilkson (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne), sophomore Dylan Cossin (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls), junior Eli Holm (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional), and freshman Jacob Hathaway (Lexington) won the event with a time of 1:41.26.
  • 1650-yard freestyle: sophomore Conner Arneson (Mount Horeb, Wis.) won the event with a time of 17:13.18. Cossin finished second with a time of 17:29.66
  • 200-yard freestyle: senior Brett Scheib (Gibsonia,Pa. / Hampton) won the event with a time 1:50.84. Freshman Keith Turnbull (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) finished second with a time of 1:51.59
  •  50-yard backstroke: Hathaway finished first with a time of 24.82 while freshman Will Dorenkott (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) came in second with a time of 26.42
  •  50-yard breaststroke: freshman Hethon Foster (East Haven, Conn.) won the event with a time of 29.32. Junior Ian Black (Fairview Park / Fairview) came in second with a time of 30.69
  • 100-yard butterfly: Wilkson won the event with a time of 54.49
  • 50-yard freestyle: senior Jason Tondra (Canton / Massillon Jackson) finished first with a time of 22.33 
  • 100-yard freestyle: senior Nathan Williams (Columbia, S.C. / Irmo) won the event with a time of 48.68 while Holm finished second with a time of 50.33
  •  100-yard backstroke: Arneson finished first with a time of 55.93. Dorenkott came in second with a time of 56.74
  •  100-yard breaststroke: Scheib won the event with a time of 1:07.05
  •  500-yard freestyle: Wilkson finished first with a time of 5:02.49 while Tondra came in second with 5:08.31
  • 50-yard butterfly: Hathaway came in first with a time of 24.18. Foster came in second with 24.7
The Raiders return to action on Saturday, February 4 when they host Saint Vincent for their final dual meet of the season at 1 p.m. in the Hammond Natatorium in Alliance.
