WHEATON, Ill. – The Mount Union wrestling team wrapped up the Pete Willson-Wheaton Invitational on Saturday.
 
The Purple Raiders had a pair of top-5 finishes, led by senior Jack Stanley (Brecksville, OH / Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) who placed fourth at 125. First-year Nicholas Nettleton (Exeter, PA / Exeter Township) placed fifth at 157.  
 
Finishing in eighth in their respective weight classes were first-year Andrew Magness (Cincinnati, OH / Elder) at 133 and first-year Darese Sparkman (Massillon, OH / Massillon Perry) at 149.
 
Mount Union will next host Muskingum in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) dual match on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.
