Men's Swimming: Raiders Swarm Yellow Jackets in Home Victory

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's swimming and diving defeated Baldwin Wallace 150-91 in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet on Saturday afternoon.

Top Finishers
  • 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of freshman Bruce Beyer (Plymouth, Mich. / Plymouth-Salem), sophomore Lucas Starling (Lexington), sophomore Jacob Hathaway (Lexington) and freshman Vinny Aldewereld (Valley City / North Royalton) won the event with a time of 1:57.52
  • 1000-yard freestyle: sophomore Brett Doehring (Humble, Texas / Kingwood) won the event with a time of 10:52.01 and junior Thomas Ginocchi (Oakdale, Pa. / West Allegheny) finished second with a time of 11:05.07
  • 200-yard freestyle: junior Dylan Cossin (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) won the event with a time of 1:46.71 and junior Conner Arneson (Mount Horeb, Wis.) finished second with a time of 1:47.39
  • 50-yard freestyle: Aldewereld finished second with a time of 26.28
  • 200-yard individual medley: Hathaway won the event with a time of 1:57.78
  • 100-yard butterfly: junior Michael Hubbard (Springfield, Va. / Home school) finished second with a time of 53.52
  • 100-yard freestyle: Starling won the event with a time of 48.58
  • 100-yard backstroke: Hathaway won the event with a time of 52.95 and Beyer finished second with a time of 54.37
  • 500-yard freestyle: junior Mason Wilkson (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne) wont the event with a time of 4:59.95
  • 100-yard breaststroke: Hubbard won the event with a time of 1:04.57 and freshman AJ Quisno (Toledo / St. Francis De Sales) finished second with a time of 1:04.73
  • 400-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of Beyer, Arneson, Wilkson and Aldewereld won the event with a time of 3:16.14 and the team consisting of sophomore Hethon Foster (East Haven, Conn.), freshman Cameron Burnett (Canfield), senior Eli Holm (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) and Cossin finished second with a time of 3:19.33
The Raiders hit the road next when they travel to Wooster on Thursday, November 30 for the first day of the Wooster Invitational.
