Nicholas Nettleton (Reading, PA / Exeter Township) won 157, highlighting the second and final day of the Messiah Petrofes Invitational on Saturday.
The Purple Raiders finished sixth out of 13 schools with 97.5 points.
Nettleton won with a 3-2 decision over Alvernia senior Jason Rezac, who is No. 7-nationally ranked. Junior
Bryce McCloskey (Greenville, PA / Reynolds) finished third at 184, battling back in the consolation bracket with a 11-0 major decision win.
Senior
Jack Stanley (Broadview Heights, OH / Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) finished fourth at 125, sophomore
Nolan Frye (Valley View, OH / Walsh Jesuit) placed sixth at 133, and freshman
Blake Kaminski (Stow, OH / Stow-Munroe Falls) finished sixth at 165.
The Purple Raiders are back on the mats Friday, Dec. 8 at the Kent State Quad.
