COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Mount Union women's tennis team lost, 9-0, at Capital in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) match on Friday.
 
Sophomore Abby Franks (Canton, Ohio / Canton South) lost a hard-fought match at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 5-7, 1-0 (10-3).
 
The Purple Raiders moved to 1-7 overall and 1-3 in the OAC, while the Comets improved to 7-6 overall and 2-2 in the league.
 
Mount Union will next travel to Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday, April 12 at 4 p.m.
