ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team beat Wilmington in a dual meet 168-82 on Saturday afternoon.
Top Finishers
- 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of sophomore Jacob Hathaway (Lexington), sophomore Lucas Starling (Lexington), freshman Daniel Claxton (Georgetown, Guyana / West Demerara Secondary) and freshman Bruce Beyer (Plymouth, Mich. / Plymouth-Salem) won the event with a time of 1:39.15
- 1000-yard freestyle: junior Dylan Cossin (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) won the event with a time of 10:23.14 and freshman Blayne Maurer (Canton / GlenOak) finished second with a time of 11:04.57
- 200-yard freestyle: Hathaway won the event with a time of 1:47.47
- 100-yard backstroke: junior Mason Wilkson (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne) won the event with a time of 54.33 and sophomore Keith Turnbull (Stow / Stow-Munroe) finished second with a time of 56.79
- 100-yard breaststroke: Starling finished second with a time of 1:03.06
- 200-yard butterfly: senior Eli Holm (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) won the event with a time of 2:04.34 and freshman Angelo Lawrence (Mooresville, Ind. / Center Grove) finished second with a time of 2:12.04
- 50-yard freestyle: freshman Vinny Aldewereld (Valley City / North Royalton) won the event with a time of 22.34
- 100-yard freestyle: Hathaway won the event with a time of 48.63
- 200-yard backstroke: Beyer won the event with a time of 2:02.06 and Turnbull finished second with a time of 2:05.72
- 200-yard breaststroke: freshman AJ Quisno (Toledo / St. Francis De Sales) won the event with a time of 2:20.67 and sophomore Owen Zundell (Marietta) finished second with a time of 2:26.96
- 500-yard freestyle: Starling won the event with a time of 5:03.96
- 100-yard butterfly: Beyer won the event with a time of 53.91 and Wilkson finished second with a time of 54.91
Mount Union also honored their three graduating seniors prior to the meet;

The Raiders hit the road next when they travel to New Wilmington, Pa. to take on Westminster on Saturday, February 3 at 1 p.m.
