ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team beat Wilmington in a dual meet 166-92 on Saturday afternoon.
Top Finishers
- 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of junior Ava Breton (Cheshire, Conn.), freshman Hannah Royer (Bristow, Va. / Patriot), junior Erika Fogarty (Dimondale, Mich. / Holt) and sophomore Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time of 1:56.95
- 1000-yard freestyle: senior Ziv Marco (Buffalo Grove, Ill. / Adlai E. Stevenson) won the event with a time 11:48.61 and senior Lauren Hurley (Perry) finished second with a time of 12:24.20
- 200-yard freestyle: junior Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) won the event with a time of 2:07.06 and junior Emily Hauck (Avon Lake) finished second with a time of 2:09.25
- 100-yard backstroke: Calaway won the event with a time of 1:03.60 and Breton finished second with a time of 1:04.66
- 100-yard breaststroke: freshman Julia Basista (Youngstown / Boardman) won the event with a time of 1:15.29
- 200-yard butterfly: sophomore Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) won the event with a time 2:26.09 and sophomore Kayla Stewart (Marietta) with a time of 2:29.59
- 50-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 26.19
- 100-yard freestyle: senior Elizabeth Regovich (Willowick / Eastlake North) won the event with a time of 58.11 and Breton finished second with a time of 1:00.18
- 200-yard backstroke: freshman Reagan Durbin (Dover) won the event with a time 2:18.22 and sophomore Jordyn Miller (Strongsville) finished second with a time of 2:26.68
- 200-yard breaststroke: Royer finished second with a time of 2:42.80
- 500-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 5:26.46 and junior Shawna Gordon (Manhattan, Ill. / Lincoln Way West) finished second with a time of 5:59.57
- 100-yard butterfly: Regovich won the event with a time of 1:03.66 and sophomore Nina Veldt (Holland, Mich.) finished second with a time of 1:04.15
